Taking inspiration from the site, this house sits right on the Ottawa River, with vistas of the water and the Ottawa skyline. Using a palette of soft creams, light greys and modelled whites this kitchen reflect the brightness of being on the water in the summertime. With a mix of upper cabinets and open shelving, this kitchen is highly functional with lots of storage but also feels much larger than it’s actual size and allows for the residents to showcase their collection of curiosities and artisanal dishware. The soft palette is uplifted by geometric shapes, varying textures and playful hints of bold colour and dynamic fixtures, unifying the sites competing focuses of the calm water and the bustling city-line.
